“ A gem in Aransas Pass. I absolutely love this place. Great sandwiches, cozy coffee shop/cafe feel, and the folks there are top notch. For the quality of their food I'd say prices are fair. The Rueben (pictured below) was excellent. I got the half sandwich & soup. The cheese broccoli soup was okay, just a little lacking in flavor for me. Editing here as I've already returned: I tried the Roast Beef Dip a/k/a French Dip and it was a hit. I've added a pic and it does come with Au Jus. This time they had the tomato basil soup and I liked it better than the cheese broccoli soup so am giving a full 5 stars on food. Although it is a bit of a drive for me I will be visiting the little sandwich/coffee shop often. ”

“ Formally old town espresso and Cafe seriously has the best coffee in the world. I highly recommend leaving the highway and adventuring into Aransas Pass in order to sip on this spectacular brew made by the one and only Mike (the owner.) You won’t regret going into town for the coffee alone. And your pallet will be forever grateful that it experienced old town cafe’s dark black coffee. Disclaimer I have no affiliation with Mike or old town Cafe except that I’ve tasted and seen that old town Cafe in Aransas Pass has the world’s best coffee by far. ”
“ Walked in to see what was served here. The owner was super nice, practically reciting the whole menu to me. I tried today's soup special - "Poblano Soup"! It was amazing!! Haven't eaten the cookie yet but I'm looking forward to it in the morning. I'll definitely be back for the soup! ”
